Great choice of words —58% of Americans say the WORLD is going to hell in a handbasket, the same words I wrote two days ago, also referring to the world. So say you? What is MOST IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW? Nothing could be more important than where you will spend eternity after this life. WHAT IF the Bible was true, that there is a literal heaven and hell? The time is up for procrastinating – its time to look into God and make your decision who you will serve. How can I know if this is completely true? To believe without evidence for any faiths truthfulness (blind faith) is foolishness. Biblical prophecy is when God tells a prophet something will happen in the future. Its fulfillment with complete accuracy provides proof that God is with them. How many faiths have prophecy to provide evidence of the truthfulness of their faith? If one person represented one of the worlds differing faiths, there would be 4200 people. Only ONE of those faiths provide predictions of the future, the Christian faith. Only a handful of other religions have even attempted to provide a prediction, but all of them failed miserably. How many prophecies are there and how accurate are they? Depending upon whether the prophecies are counted as one per verse or three or four differing aspects of a prophecy within a verse. That considered, there are between 1800 and 2500 prophecies, between 1500 and 2000 of them have already been fulfilled. Through every conceivable method of providing evidence of a prophetic fulfillment (history, archaeology, science, physiology, etc.), biblical prophesies have been found to be 100% accurate. Statisticians provide the odds of things happening by chance as an expression using mathematical formulations. For example, statistician chose eight random prophecies from the New Testament regarding the life of Christ. The chances that all eight would happen exactly as was predicted a minimum of 487 years before hand is one chance and 1×10 to the 17th power (thats 10 with 17 0s behind it). If you were to add just two more random prophecies, the odds increase to 1×10 to the 24th power. Regarding the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, there are 333 prophecies. The point God wants to impress on us is that He wants us to know that He is real and that we can trust Him with our lives. He wants us to know that he loves and cares for each of us for beyond we could imagine and that He has a plan for our lives. We no longer have time to delay. None of us know how long we have to live.
