Great news! KCAH has been awarded £6,000 from the Thames Homeless Project towards the cost of running our Housing Crisis Intervention Service (HCIS). We are really grateful for this grant. HCIS provides a 3 hour drop-in advice session (no appointment necessary for the first visit) each weekday morning. These sessions are usually extremely busy. Clients who need more than just one visit for us to be able to help them effectively are given an appointment to return at a later date, usually during an afternoon. HCIS also: Is the referral point for clients to the Joel Community Trust Night Shelter in Norbiton. Acts as the postal address for clients who do not have a permanent address. Supplies Foodbank vouchers when appropriate. Grants like this really do help us to keep the service running.
