Greetings All, My friend back in the summer mentioned wanting to get into SFB. I had played it a lot back in High School and College (I used to be part of a wargame club in Queens that had an SFB campaign), but I havent played since the early 90s. I sent him and another friend (who had played a lite bit of the Designer Edition) the link for the online Cadet rules. I read them, too, as a refresher. So the big day came and I went over the SSD and the Energy Allocation Sheet with them. Discussed movement and turning, and how to power systems. Then I gave them each a Fed CA, and using very basic rules, had them play a few turns. This gave us a chance to fire and use the DAC. And I totally lost my friend who had not played before. Hes still interested, but how should I try to get him into it?
