Greetings CHBC family, I would like to take the time to introduce to you a great missions project for our church for this coming summer. The CHBC family in the past has never been able to take part in being part of a missions team in that went outside of the country. We now have secured an opportunity for any part of our church family to go abroad for the purpose of sharing the Gospel. This is truly a great opportunity for our church and will no doubt be blessed by God. This Summer we have teamed up with a church (Central Baptist Church, Chattanooga TN) and are planning on taking a missions support team to Nicaragua. There we will be assisting in the feeding, clothing, and spreading of the Gospel to the people of this country. Bro. Johnny has been invited to come and preach at various night crusades that will be held in evangelistic efforts to reach the people of Nicaragua for Jesus Christ. He will most definitely need the prayers of our church in fulfilling this opportunity to share the Gospel. We have put together an information packet that is available that contains all the needed forms and information that you will need to fill out if you are interested in joining the team on this great mission. The trip will be this July 19th through July 26th 2014...deadline for registration is March 14th! We know this is short notice but the trip was backed up from September to July. We will be working towards securing the needed financial support in making this trip a success for CHBC and our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are interested in going please see Bro. Johnny Crumpton or Joanna Brown so that you can get the necessary information together so that nothing will hinder your ability to leave the country for this trip. So far we have a total of Four (4) people who have signed up to go and represent our church on this trip. Praise the Lord!!! If you cannot make the arrangements to make this trip dont fret. In missions there are those who leap in faith and go and then there are those who stay and hold the rope. There are great blessings from God in fulfilling both responsibilities for they are equally important. If you cant go this time please prayerfully seek Gods heart in how you can make this trip successful by supporting this missions trip financially. Anyone can give to make this trip a success. We look forward to seeing how God begins to use our church in reaching not only out into our communities with the Gospel but also around the world abroad. Blessings to you all!
