*** HEY FRANKIE I HOPE UR GETTING PAID *** IF NOT YOU COULD BE FROM YOUTUBE (THIS IS COPY & PASTE) LOL- When you monetize a video, adverts are put on your video (although you have to enable the types of ads that you want in the Monetization tab). When people click on those adverts, they earn you money. Each individual click only earns a fraction of a cent, but they add up. If you want to know how much you have earned so far, you need to go to Analytics, which will tell you. In order to actually receive the money, you need a Google AdSense account which you must set up and link to your YouTube account according to the instructions you are sent. Google AdSense needs some personal information from you, such as your full name, address and landline telephone number. In some countries, you have the option of being paid by direct bank transfer (aka electronic funds transfer) instead of by cheque: in that case, AdSense will also need your bank account details. In at least some of these countries, direct transfer is the only option (e.g. Germany, where cheques are no longer in use at all). Once you have earned at least $100 (US), you will be paid, assuming your AdSense account is correctly set up. Before you receive your first payment, AdSense will ask you to verify your address (they will send you a letter with some instructions you must follow) and your landline phone number (their computer will call you with instructions you must follow); if you are being paid by direct transfer, you must also verify your bank account details (you will be paid a few cents and asked to verify receipt). You will then be paid either by cheque or by direct bank transfer the month after any month you have accumulated at least $100. If you have made less than $100, the money you have earned will roll over to the next month: you wont lose it, you just wont get it immediately. AdSense will normally send you an e-mail confirming they have sent payment. All details regarding payments received and pending will be in your Google AdSense account; there are also earnings statements there for you to print out and archive, as you may need them for tax purposes.
