HOW LEGITIMATE KENYAN ELECTIONS ARE: The 4th(current) Kenyan - TopicsExpress

HOW LEGITIMATE KENYAN ELECTIONS ARE: The 4th(current) Kenyan president was the godson of the 3rd(Former) president,an anointed heir in the 2nd presidents succession plans and the favorite son of the 1st president. The former president spent 10 years as vice president 2nd president, during which he successfully introduced a bill that made Kenya a one-party state. Before then, they were comrades for 15 years in the 1st presidents cabinet-him as the minister for finance and the 2nd president as vice president. The current opposition leader is the son of the countrys first vice president, who later became the doyen of Kenyas opposition politics.Isnt it a coincidence, then, that the more things change in Kenya...the more they remain the same? Elections in Kenya have never been won at the ballot box, since independence when the the genuine freedom fighters had what they had fought and died for snatched from right under their noses by the colonial home-guards,as gullible Kenyans were still drunk with the hoisting of the flag and singing the national anthem. That explains why the independence cabinet was full of former colonial administrators such as Simeon Nyachae and John Michuki.... Anyway, right from the start, theft of legitimacy has been done in the following manner (a)In boardrooms by the owners of capital, where victory is auctioned to the highest bidder and (b)On the filthy streets using the sweat, blood and tears of 2nd class citizens who include peaceful demonstrators and junior security officers. Though the shameless theft of votes is the 2nd nature of our government, this vice is also rampant within the anti-establishment.That the opposition does the rigging of party nominations at all possible levels is the worst kept secret. Here, sycophants like Mapambanoand Babas elder brother, sister and cousin have to get direct nomination despite protests by voters. On the other hand, outsiders Like Tuju,Kidero,Ababu,Oduol and Semelango have to get a raw deal because they dont look loyal enough!Meanwhile, the Status-Quo does the stealing of votes during the issuance of Identity cards to minors,(double)registration of voters in its strongholds and clerical errors while counting presidential votes. In 2007,the male ethnic chauvinists declared that A small boy(an uncircumcised man) in power is even worse than a womans rule to justify the innocent blood in their hands. In 2013,The prince had to get power through the back-door to defeat justice at the ICC,so that he gets away with genocide, rape, genital mutilation...to name just but a few.We wont waste precious time talking of the small fish, like his overzealous deputy-this errand boy is just a necessary evil-to be used as a scapegoat ,then dumped at the Hague by the real power-brokers. Its in that light that the ethnic cartel around the House on the Hill is busy concentrating the monopoly of Violence(national Security apparatus) within 1 tribe, and the military is increasingly assuming civilian(Policing) duties(who doesnt know where the top dogs at immigration and intelligence were sneaked-in from?).Instead of securing our territory in places like Migingo Island, these trained Killers who only know how to shoot, then ask questions later, have been let loose on our streets to do a miserable job(Remember the shooting and looting spree at West-gate Mall?) Anyway,Isnt it such a coincidence, that a mobile phone company(whose electronic database is credited with implicating senior members of the current and previous regime with financing the butchery of its own citizens),is now getting preferential treatment in most of the lucrative government contracts?Anyway,Nobody is saying the government is trying tamper the evidence to be used at the Hague.Theres no evidence. Meanwhile, watch this space as the clock ticks towards 2017.Trust me,you dont have to be a PROPHET to feel the putrid stench of blood and decomposing bodies, like you did a decade earlier!
