Had a pleasant run-in with a trail user this morning during my run. He was out walking his dogs and we chatted a bit about the coyotes in the area. The trail was in great shape between Miles 8.25 [Indiantown parking lot] and Mile 11.75ish. I almost made it to Mile 12 but had to turn around. As expected, the area under the bridge [Mile 11] was messy with trash from the drivers up above. I did stop to clean up the stash of plastic bottles (5 of them) around Mile 10.5. I also managed to run across a new pack of cigarettes. I dont smoke so theyre now in my trash can. I did clip back some of the thorn bushes that were hanging out into the trail but didnt stop to get every single plant. Just not enough time in the day for that. Theres also a tree down at Mile 11.25, just east of the bridge. Its all the way across the trail and flat on the ground but will need a chainsaw to clear it. Other than that, the trail was great. Lots of leaves down so it was plenty loud moving down the trail. Which meant most of the animals stayed away from me, except for the two deer I managed to sneak up on.
