Had a pretty good weekend I guess. I really hated that the Beaver Run was rained out and had to be postponed tentativly until April 19th (which could be changed because of another benefit run previously scheduled for that day.) Ive got to try and enjoy these runs as much as possible because I dont know how many more that I am gonna be able to do at least without a Trike. I have been told by my doctors that I am gonna have to give up riding my scooter very soon. They want me to now but Im gonna wait for a bit. Not too long though because it could become a danger to myself & GG. My back condition has gotten a lot worse than I thought it was and its to the point that I may not be able to hold the scooter up when we stop very much longer due to the nerves in my lower back (6 vertebrae & disc pretty much gone) causing a major loss of strength in my legs. So I guess I will need to start looking for a good deal on a Trike and those damn things are EXPENSIVE !!!! Im trying hard not to jump on the pity pot and stay positive but I have been riding for over 46 years and to not be able too do so anymore is gonna be a major adjustment for me !!!! So once again Im asking for your prayers (they do work by the way) because this is a life changing event for me and the lifestyle I have lived since I was a young sprout !!!! I promise not to get on here and piss & moan about it anymore & thanks again for allowing me to be a small part of your lives.
