Hahahaha. People have no clue the things we as medical professionals actually deal with. I actually had a patient who lived 5 blocks from the hospital call for an ambulance at 3 am for a headache. As I made my assessment he told me it was the worst headache he ever had. Things start to run to my mind, could be an early stroke onset, a head bleed, ect. I continue on with my assessment and ask on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst pain he ever felt could he give a number to his pain... He then informed me that he currently didnt have a headache and hasnt had it since about 8pm after taking some advil. He just wanted to go to the hospital and see what would cause it to hurt... AT 3AM!!!!!
