Happy 40th anniversary to Tama Drums! I did a lot of research before buying my Tama kits, I had a Yamaha Stage Custom before that. I didnt want to buy a kit with a bias towards any particular brand this time and decided to try everything and let my ears and eyes make the decision. Ive tried pretty much every brand in my 27 years as a drummer and, in my opinion, Tama are making the best drums and hardware at the moment. Nothing Ive heard, played or seen is as beautiful looking and sounding as my Tama Starclassic Performer B/B and Silverstar kits. tama
