Happy 54th Birthday to Dr. Scott Alan Rubin Greatest Pilates Teacher Limericks by a grateful student There once was a doctor named Scottie Who was certified teaching Pilates If you take his mat classes Hell work off your asses Under guise of improving your botties And just when youre poised in position This wise-cracking witty physician Will throw you a curve With vigor and verve And not even ask your permission. Though his humor is often quite charming It can also turn very disarming With each student at ease But down on their knees He tries not to be too alarming. For he likes a well-crafted pun Hell shoot from his hip like a gun But dont worry Star Fleet Youll get back on your feet Cuz hes set not to kill - just to stun. But in class he demands strict obeyance He is master of all his surveyance Hes no ingénue What else can we do? We suppose it is in his purveyance. You might as well grant him submission While your core is ablaze with a fission Under this teachers spell And he knows it quite well Hes worth every cent of tuition. His hearts always in the right space He thinks most insurance a disgrace Many patients he serves Adjusting their nerves As well anything else out of place. Without too much flash or elation He touches your back in palpation Though hes not from Australia His movements regale ya With all of his koalifications. Soon hes set to be a diplomate Just more expertise to cultivate Which hell spin in the air With his fabulous flair Of this there can be no debate. Its not just that hes an enigma And its certainly isnt a stigma To say hes eccentric With logic concentric Well just have to say, Man we dig ya. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOC!
