businesses should be left to their own policies! if they want to allow smoking, then they should be able to do that! if it affects their business negatively, they will change! theres no need for the state to intervene and render private businesss right to carry on business as they see fit moot! public safety is a bogus rationale since making known that a particular business allows smoking gives the customer the choice of going in or not! if no one chooses to go in the owner will change or go out of business! this is the beauty of a free market without state intervention! the state has no right to edict how a business should be run, especially under bogus pretense! that should be left up to the owner! government does not have the right to dictate business practice! government doesnt have the power to level the playing field for business! public and employee safety is another bogus argument in so much as everyone has a choice to patronize or work there! i would love for anyone to counter this!
