Happy Birthday to my boy, Ice Marrow, he turns 23 today. Let me tell ya, just when I thought that my life couldnt get any better back in 1991, here comes this boy and I would become a full time mom, dedicating everyday to this precious being. I loved every minute of it and miss it greatly. I can wake up everyday with ease and a huge smile knowing that I rocked it at being a heck of a mom. Never missed a parent opportunity to volunteer for his school functions, went on every single field trip, was team mom to every sport he did. Karate from the age of 4, two hrs a day 4 days a week for 6 years until he received his black belt at the tender age of 10. He went right into year round baseball after that for the next 6 yrs (heck of a pitcher),then he mastered golf and went right into high school being freshman captain and that year got a hole in one (who has that happen?) Our snow boarding adventures were something else, hes a great snow boarder but I stay in the lodge with my walkie talkie as he goes up and down the slopes, he started at 10 and isnt scared of much, reminds me of myself and yes he has a lot of his dad in him, thats for sure. Dont play a game of chess or poker with him because hes sure to take your money, no joke. My all time favorite moment was when he flew YES, FLEW me to Catalina Island from Santa Monica airport, he did 100% of the flying, his instructor just watched. Thank goodness I have all of this recorded. My life is been so full filled since day one of this kids arrival. When you have a child its no longer about you and thats how it should be. #ProudMom
