Hate speech is not the same as Freedom of speech. I do not - TopicsExpress

Hate speech is not the same as Freedom of speech. I do not excuse any type of violent act that involves the death of innocent people, neither i excuse the cheap journalism that makes money making fun of what other people consider sacred and holy, its just NOT RIGHT. I have never seen Muslims having Magazines making fun of other religions, mocking them and posting offensive pictures of their religious leaders. I have even seen how journalists have been silenced from Media just because of jokes towards the Jewish community and the Holocaust. (which i think it was not right either). Once again, Freedom of speech NOT EQUAL to hate speech. Now, its so easy to blame Islam and the Muslim community when any type of terrorist act happens (supposedly made by Islamic radicals), but if you take time to actually think, this type of actions hurt more Islam than anything, and are actually made just to separate us, as a whole, as human beings from any religion wanting to live our lives in Peace; and also to create more hate towards a religion of more than 1.7 billions of followers, (and i mean, if Islam itself would promote terrorism, this world would be doomed by now). I can understand the behavior of some members of the Muslim community when they do not show any kind of sadness towards this events, why?, because we see the death of thousands of innocents Muslims (along with Christians) in a war made by imported terrorists using western weaponry in Syria, we see thousands of Palestinians dying daily by the hands of the western friendly Israeli Zionist government, we see the very same Islamic radicals killing thousands of Muslims in Iraq, in Lybia, in Yemen, and other extremist groups killing more Muslims in Myanmar and i could go on but the list is long, so honestly, the whole world see Muslims dying on daily basis and simply do-not-do-anything * do-not-care, but when its about radical muslims killing 12 people in France or in Australia the world freak out? - Not fair. Now, i heard there is a Hashtag #killallmuslims trending on social media in France and this just makes me remember, how did Australians reacted when the Australia incident happened? they supported the Muslim community by trending #illridewithyou and gave the whole world a lesson of how we all should react to any type of terrorist attack. So the only thing i could think of now is, that we all as Humans from all countries, with different religions and Faiths, should Unite as One against this evil threatening us all, against the people who want to make this World worse, they are trying to keep separating us, do not let them win. Lets show this people that #UnitedweStand can be not just a trend, but a Reality. In Sha Allah - God willing.
