Support Dr Sangram Patil - AAP Candidate Jalgaon. Dear Friends, My brother-in-law Dr Sangram Patil is contesting election as a candidate of Aam Aadmi Party from Jalgaon district. I am sending a brief profile summary of Dr Sangram Patil: • Completed MBBS and MD Anaesthesia from BJ Medical college, Pune. Achieved highly regarded qualification in the medical field - ‘Fellow of Royal College of Anaesthesia, UK’. • Worked as Anaesthetist and trauma consultant in various hospitals in the UK from year 2003 to 2008. • Gave up his lavish and rewarding lifestyle in the UK and started a hospital in a rural part of India to serve needy and poor people in 2008. • Conducted more than 200 free health camps and charitable operations in the villages close to Jalgaon for people who cannot afford to pay for health services. • Had been very active in the social welfare activities from the last 6 years and worked on the various issues such as children’s health, education, female foeticide, caste discrimination, farmers’ problems and corruption. • Won several prestigious awards for his social work from various esteemed organizations. • Conducted more than 150 seminars in various villages to create awareness about health, social issues and democracy. • Wrote several books and newspaper articles for social causes and received support from well-known social activists such as Dr Abhay Bang and Dr Prakash Aamte. • Supported and guided rural youth through seminars conducted in various villages Dr Sangram is committed to continue his work for the social cause throughout his life.
