Have you been bitten by a mosquito lately? If you have (and who in South Texas hasnt?), chances are that your dog has as well. And what happens to your dog if hes not on heart worm prevention and gets bit by a mosquito? Short answer: he dies a horrible, early death. And you know what? Heart worm treatment isnt a guaranteed healthy animal. We lost our dear Crosby this week during treatment. This beautiful, fun loving, happy boy just couldnt handle the poison needed to kill the worms. Please, Please, Please educate yourself and your neighbors on this devastating killer and preventative methods.
