Have you ever had a significant impact in someones life that you where not aware off ? Yesterday at work an older Gentleman came up to me . And asked me is .... Is your name Claudia ( not a hidden secret I wear a Name Tag ) I answered " Yes " . Than he asked :Do you remember me ? Out of politeness I answered of course " YES " and honestly I had no clue who this man was. His next Question was ..Were do you know me from ? My mind was racing now where would I have met him .... only one place came to mind WAL-MART .... so I said it (lol) His next Question was which one ? Now that one got a little harder ( I only worked in like 4 different ones in the past 10 years ). So I took a random guess ( of course the wrong one hehehe ) He corrected me and introduced himself by name . The Lightbulb in my Head went off and I remembered him. 10 years ago I mentored him ..but Boy did he look different ( younger of course .... I am sure.. so did I ) That is when he told me that my Conversations with him had changed his life .( I had encouraged him to go for his Dreams and Goals and to not let anything get in his way ) He told me that these words did not only helped him in his Work Life but also challenged him to return to his Country and pursue a Life long Dream that he had ,to work with what he called " Lost Souls " ( apparently young men that went of track for a minute ) . He said he created some kind of a Place in which he and others turned these " Lost Souls" around and turned them into men... ( Wow what an Accomplishment ) He repeatedly told me ... I will NEVER forget you and he owed me so much. It made me cry .... I had no idea how powerful my words must have been !
