Have you ever heard the song “this kind God o, I never see your type o, this kind God o, blessed be Your Holy name! Whenever I sit down in silence to ponder on the majesty and awesomeness of God, I cannot but wonder “what a God?” His ways are far beyond the comprehension of man. His thoughts are not those of men. His intentions can never be fathomed by man except made known to him. His actions are not questionable no matter how you feel about them. You must have heard people queried “but God, why?” or God why me? He owes no man any explanation for His actions for they are far beyond the mental scope of the mortal. His love is exceeding. His tender mercies are forever, just as His anger is fierce! God loved man so much that He made man in his own image after His own likeness. What a love? He showed man companionship by visiting him in the garden at chosen hours. But when man disobeyed Him He did not hesitate to send him out of the garden and cursed him (A curse man is yet to come out of). He is unquestionable! He chooses Israel above every other nation of the world, why? What did other nations do to offend Him? Speaking of Esau and Jacob Gen 25:23: And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb … and the elder shall serve the younger”. WHY? Romans 9:13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” What was Esau, an unborn child’s offense? In Exodus 7:3-4 He said to Moses “And I will harden Pharaohs heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt” Have you ever thought of it that no amount of convictions, prayers or intercession would have saved Pharaoh, because God was bent on destroying him, though after giving him a long rope to pull? And remember that God was the one that sent the Israelites to captivity in Egypt in the first place, to punish them. During a Sunday school class, somebody asked if God knew that Adam and Eve would eat the forbidden fruit, and if yes, why put them in such a precarious situation? John 9: 2-3 recorded 2And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him”. He is God! He has made all things for His pleasure” He obeys no law of nature for He created nature and nature answers to His biddings, little wonder he parted the Red Sea. He made the good and the bad. Why has God not “killed” Satan as most of us would wish in prayers? Revelation 4:11 answers all questions about God, His ways and His deeds “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. So no matter what you see him do, heard Him do, read him do or hear He will do no one can question it. He is God. Join me sing “unquestionable you are the Lord”! (With dances and drums please)
