Health, wealth, and prosperity are never signs of Gods approval, for even the most wicked can be granted those things by the providential hand of God, for which the judgement of their soul will be even greater for God endures patiently those vessels of wrath reserved for destruction, and on that day, they will have no excuse. Children of God may certainly prosper in health and wealth as God graciously makes them to increase, yet this is not a true experience for many of His children. The true experience of Gods blessing is spiritual blessings of grace, salvation, union with Christ, communion with Christ. Salvation yields many blessed fruits, produced by the Holy Spirit; obedience to the Lord, compassion for others, holiness, love for brothers and sisters in Christ, love for enemies, contentment, boldness of preaching the Gospel, prayer, worship, humility, self-sacrifice, giving, gifts of the Holy Spirit, love for the Word of God, hatred of sin, and living for the glory of God. Christians dont long after health, wealth and prosperity, we long to glorify God in all things, even if in the wisdom and providence of God that should be most clearly manifested in our sickness and poverty.
