Hello All. I would like to advise you that the vote ended this week and I have been advised that the numbers were.......63 against and .....251 affirmative for equal access to the Cowichan Aquatic Centre!!!!!! Thats 79.9% of the people who voted have asked that council extent the current deal until 2018. Despite being a non-binding vote, my sources tell me that council will abide by the positive results and for all intents and purposes, Lake Cowichan will have equal access to the Duncan Pool for the next 4 years! I want to Thank everyone involved for their efforts as it warms my heart to see that in this day and age, a group of concerned citizens can effect meaningful change when push comes to shove. Cheers:)
