Hello! Are there any parents, living in Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Castro Valley, who have 3 to 5,5 year old children and who are potentially interested in creating/forming a coop pre-school? Consider this a pole, just curious to see if there is any interest in that kind of schooling. Benefits: affordable, parents actively participate in creating the curriculum offered to their children, and see/experience what children do in such a pre-school, a short term commitment to be enrolled in pre-school of 6 month up to 1 year. Disadvantages: parents have to commit to working in the school for 1 day from 9ish to 1ish, parents will have to help in any way they can to get the school started and keep it going (making/donating furniture and educational tosy, cleaning, helping with administrative tasks, etc.).
