Hello CYG! Praying that your week would be one full of His presence and blessed by His sweet mercies! I wanted to share this reflection from Nehemiah 9 for those of you who have perhaps been feeling little urges by the Holy Spirit to repent. 2 Timothy 3 says: 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. But, so often, when we are facing a problem, we tend to go everywhere but the Word for solutions! I hope this reflection will help those of you who are feeling led to repent, for yourself and perhaps on behalf of your family or church, to understand Gods biblical principles and guideline for repentance so that you may have a firm foundation for understanding the very great promises He has given us and the magnificent mercy that has been extended to us! This is also an example of what a reflection or devotion time can look like. PT and I are already so encouraged by those of you who are doing and sharing your reflections and hope you will begin to share them with one another so that you can mutually encourage one another as apostle Paul says! Lets grow beyond just zipping by a chapter and thinking thats our QT. Really getting in to the Word reveals that every verse, sometimes even every word, truly is useful for teaching rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness!
