Hello Friends, I am writing to you to ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me this May 1st as I embark on a month adventure. This is going to be my very first mission trip overseas and I am very excited to serve the Lord in this capacity. I have an invitation to help Sherwood Cliffs Christian Community at Glenreagh NSW, Australia (sherwoodcliffs.au) with their big backlog of motor mechanic work. God has gifted me with this talent in which I will have an opportunity to teach others my expertise on fixing vehicles. I felt God’s prompting me to go on a mission trip but I had too much debt. The miracle was that in 2 weeks time, my debt was free and clear. That was 2 1/2 years ago and the now the Lord is putting it on my heart that 2014 is the year to go!! I really want to support a ministry that helps people find a new life in Jesus Christ. I hope to not only teach others about mechanics but also use my gifts and talents in teaching, counseling and prayer ministry. Thank you for your time and consideration “Sherwood Cliffs” is the realization of a vision God gave John-Pierre (Pastor) and Honi Reifler (Occupational Therapist). In 1977 God miraculously provided them with a 130 acre farm to operate as a rehabilitation center long term place for young people to grow spiritually and grow physically and mentally. They offer a gospel of caring, compassion and love. Their family ori- ented program of rehabilitation is an expression of real concern for people. The people that come to Sherwood Cliffs come from different backgrounds but in this tranquil environment and in a atmosphere of love, honest work and practical Christianity, they have an opportunity to find real answers for their needs. They preach that only Jesus Christ, and His power, is the one on whom the miracle of a restored life is founded.
