Hello Gambia!!! Here comes another update on the OneSight Gambia Sustainable Vision Care Project. Kanifing glass manufacturing lab has been launched and a newly equipped vision center has also been lunched in Bansang.. Gradually every part of the Gambia will soon have a new vision centers. In the next few weeks, over 40 OneSight Volunteers will be in the Gambia to launch another new vision center in the heart of the urban area (Kanifing). This is the long awaited solution the people of Banjul, Serrekunda and Bakau have been waiting for. Sheikh Zied Regional Eye Care Center in Kanifing will be the next vision center OneSight Foundation in partnership with the National eye Care program will launch to solve refractive error and other eye related problems for the people of the Gambia. June 16th, 2014 will be the day for this magnanimous and laudable event. While the people of Farafenni and Bansang are enjoying quality, affordable and accessible eye care service, it is now the turn of people in the urban area to benefit from the OneSight Gambia Project.
