Hello, Hansel, or Hansey, as his parents Diane and Pete call him. When hes not chasing a ball in his backyard in Toms River, NJ, he is chasing your vote for the 2015 DRSF Calendar! He always gives his mom kisses at night and is looking forward to football season!! Hansel is our first dachshund. Hes everything a dachshund should be and more. Hes the reason we have our other 2. He was the best Christmas present ever and while he loves me he became my husbands pal first and foremost the day he bought Hansey his first ball. Its a rare sight to find him without one of the balls in his mouth. The moment he hears my hubbys truck pull up he runs for the ball and greets him at the door with it. I am also sure he knows when its football season because he will wait in the recliner for my husband for the game to start and will stay there as long as it takes. Hes rough and tumble as they come but at bed time when asked to kiss Momma goodnight he does just that and scoots under the covers.
