Hello! Were looking for a couple to share our Queensland cottage in West End. The room is located separate to the house in the backyard. ABOUT THE HOUSE AND ROOM We have a large bedroom (arpox 3.5m x 3.5m) in a well looked after Queensland cottage. The room is available on the 5th of September. Rent is $245 per week for a couple. The house has lovely little gardens (some needing more attention then others) and a small grassed back yard. A nice bathroom + extra toilet and a good-sized lounge room. Also a covered back patio, which we have decked out with lots of couches, and an open patio for the BBQ. There are three bedrooms in the house, and an extra studio in the backyard. Have a look at the floor plan, the room is a bungalow like building separate to the house. ABOUT US You will be living with four other interesting people, ranging 20-36, two males, three females and three chickens. We are quite busy with interests that range from baking, rock climbing, hiking, running, photography, watching movies. Our occupations range from waitress, photographer, student, outdoor guide, web designer, researcher, and our nationalities range from Taiwanese, French and Aussie. ABOUT YOU Were looking for house mates that can add to our lovely house, and not just someone paying rent for a room. We sometimes share meals together or hang out in the lounge room. With 5-6 people living in the house, you will have to clean up after yourself and be respectful of other people. ABOUT THE AREA Our place is really close to shops, restaurants and cafes. Two houses away we have a bottle shop, a Lucky-7 convenience store, local butcher shop, and some of the best restaurants in West End. West End markets and Aldi are just a quick stroll away. The bus stop to the St Lucia campus is 100m from our door. MONEY STUFF Bond is $980 for a couple, and rent itself is paid fortnightly, two weeks in advance. Bills will be $15 extra per week per person and will cover internet/phone, gas, electricity, and water. Other house hold purchases are done on a ad hoc basis.
