Hello Zane I wish to stay anonymous I am a mother of 5(13,11,9,6,3) and we live in California,Im married to a minister and he is a amazing man,he coach football for 7 & 8 years old and he has been doing that since 18 and he is 30 now..we will be homeless in a week we have tried everything low-income apartments(long list),shelters(waiting list and some will not take a mother with 5,3 is the limit and if they are its a long list),I cant call on family because they dont have there own..I dont know what else to do I have tried EVERYTHING..looking for a apartment and they have turned us down I even looked to try and buy a house we cant(because of credit its not bad but its not good either)..Im at my end and I dont know how or what to do or where to go one thing is for sure I cant lose my kids to the system I was in the system and they kept me from my family I lived with strangers and I was taken advantage of..I have 4girls and Im so afraid...please if you can help,any help..will truly help us MY RESPONSE: Both of you need to call on your families and see if anyone is willing to help. It sounds like you have not done that yet because you realize they have their own struggles. That does not mean that they would sit back and allow you to be homeless with five kids. I am not sure what part of California you live in but hopefully someone on my page will know of some resources available in the state. I will keep you in my prayers.
