Hello dear soul mates. Here is a lesson I learned about energy healing. I may not have the actual piece of paper that proves me to be some sort of expert, but I do have a lifetime of experiences to share with anyone who would like to learn how to heal their energy. Here is one example: For the past week, my energy has been low. Instead of meditating upon it, I allowed the negative energy to drain me. I felt it all week long in my abdominal area. It felt like big solid bricks were weighing me down. Because I was feeling so tired and drained, I fed that negative energy by eating poorly, not exercising, not meditating, not doing yoga, and drinking coffee. As a result, my abdomen began to swell and my waist began to expand. I also experienced digestive issues. This morning, I woke up to a beautiful, crisp, sunny day. Fall is my favorite season. I chose to not focus on the negative energy that was weighing me down; instead, I got dressed and headed out the door. I allowed my spirit to guide me. I walked to the lake where I sat and meditated for an hour. Then I peacefully walked home. When I arrived home, I received a message from the universe. My sacral chakra was experiencing a disturbance. My financial difficulties (or what I perceived as financial difficulties) were stirring up anger and fear. Anger and fear controlled my actions and behaviors all week. My actions and behaviors caused physical harm to my body, drained my emotional bank account, wiped away my joy, peace, and bliss, and magnified my financial difficulties. This morning’s meditation healed my sacral chakra. My spirit brought me back to my peaceful world where I live in abundance, joy and love. The lesson learned: Life will never be perfect. We will always experience these emotional roller-coaster rides. It is important though to be consistent with our spiritual practice so that we can maintain emotional balance. When we do the work to manage our emotions, the universe responds with love.
