Hello everyone, Here are a couple of things that have happened at Northstaffs in the past couple of weeks: Our wonderful new director Sassi started a few weeks ago. She would love to meet you all, so do get in touch with her and say hello. Mick and Jackie have been busy moving everything to the new office. We are now based at Saltbox in Hanley. Come and see us there. Mick, Sassi and Pam went to Birmingham on a Reflex training last week which they all really enjoyed especially Sassi who was asked to complete a blindfolded obstacle course. Sassi has been working hard getting her head around all the activities that NorthstaffsYFC have been involved in and she believes that NorthstaffsYFC has a great potential and Stoke on Trent needs it but we need a lot of support in order to be successful. We are especially looking for volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in this city as we are very short of staff. You could be involved in running self-esteem courses in schools, assisting with youth clubs, mentoring young people, helping to run assemblies, working with young offenders, publicizing NorthstaffsYFC, helping to update our leaflets and promotional materials, updating the website etc. Everyone is gifted in different areas and we could use whatever you are able to offer so that we could make a bigger impact on the lives of young people together.
