Hello everyone I am representing a touring music duo Drifters Fiesta’ who are creating a web series called The Buskers Guide. Intro Video - https://youtube/watch?v=qOLagX_w0_0 Drifters Fiesta will be travelling through Newcastle and surrounding areas on the East Coast Saga of the web series and would love to stop in and play some songs around the area (we will be busking/ looking for open mic’s and gigs). We are leaving Sydney on Wednesday the 2nd and will be driving around the Newcastle area for a few days looking for our next adventure. We are also hoping to meet/ interview some local musicians who know about the scene in the area for the show. Josh 0411832283 facebook/thebuskersguide The Buskers Guide We are a duo from Melbourne called Drifters Fiesta and we are on a round the world trip to create a web series called The Buskers Guide’ https://youtube/watch?v=qOLagX_w0_0 We will be busking and couch surfing our way from towns to cities to countries playing and filming all of our experiences, learnings to compile the best places for other budget travellers to visit, eat, sleep, couch surf, busk, gigs, open mic nights, travel methods, pretty much anything that could be of benefit to a broke Busker (travelling Musicians) or Drifter (backpackers). To do this we will be busking the streets, selling CDs, playing gigs, open mic nights, doing film clips, recording songs, filming live gigs, taking photos, interviewing other buskers, travellers and locals, practically doing anything and everything we can to survive, earn money through creative means and discover all the secrets each place has to offer whilst filming it all. We will be driving from Melbourne to Cairns for the East Coast Saga of the show and then selling the wagon we drove up in to buy 2 tickets to continue the journey overseas. Our overseas travel path has not been set and where we go next will be heavily influenced by the information we receive by others on our journey. We understand we will not be able to find out everything about every area but we will try our best to get the best ones we come across. This hugely relies on collaboration so if you know secrets/ tips and tricks of travel in any area anywhere please let us know and we will do our best to follow it up for the show. The show and music is written, filmed, edited and made all independently by Drifters Fiesta, those who help us along our travels and receives no financial backing.
