Hello families, we have a message for you all from the team at Canterbury Plunket The staff of Plunket in Canterbury wish to acknowledge the frustration some of you are experiencing in regard to changed appointments and changing Plunket Nurses. We are experiencing a short term reduction in staff numbers due to unplanned leave and our usual staff turnover. We regret the impact this short term situation is having on the service we offer to you. We expect this to improve within 2 to 3 months, when staff return from leave and new staff have received orientation to the role of a Plunket Nurse. In the meantime please phone Area Office,366 0765 to speak to a staff member if you are experiencing difficulty making an appointment or receiving Plunket services or you believe you have missed an appointment opportunity. The Family Centre, located in Bishopdale, is available to assist with breast feeding and unsettled babies.
