Hello folks!! I am just wondering what you would suggest!! I am now raising three kids on my own with a fourth on the way after my spouse walked out! We have had to split our home and belongings and now I am trying to find a homestead to rent to preserve this way of life. I found one and the farmer who is renting it has offset the cost of rent to accommodate for the cost of oil heating. I am wondering if there are any tricks to this as this is an old farm house. I could move the children and I into the bedroom on the main floor and close off upstairs during the winter! Any suggestions?? A wood stove is not possible as the owners insurance would skyrocket! The acreage is great and I have permission to keep as many animals as I wish! It is just perfect minus the heating! Suggestions and help please!!
