Hello friends, I am a student in Arizona State University. I have a capstone project for my USL class that I am going to raise funding to help the children in Children First Academy elementary school in Tempe. The vast majority of our students are homeless and all of them live below the poverty line. The students’ grades are far behind the average and they are highly in needs of academic and emotional support. The students are kind, cute, and respectful. They hope to learn well and have a bright future. My project is opening a creative design class for grade 5 until March 2015. I have a team that we will design art activities related to the teacher’s lesion plan, do research about art, literacy review, raise funding. We are going to selling their wonderful art work, such as Chinese Knots, Chinese window crafts, Chinese calligraphy and other countries’ art work. So, we can raise money for the children.
