Hello guys! MUSIC IS SUCH A POWERFUL TOOL. I just wanted to share something that is dear to my heart. A lot of people are looking for volunteer opportunities over the holidays and I think that is a divine thing. From volunteering at nursing homes in the past and now presently getting involved with volunteer opportunities involving the elderly more recently... this documentary couldn’t have spoken to me more. Just your company itself can be a life changing thing for these beautiful souls. I’m working on being an ambassador for Music & Memory. I urge you to watch this film and let it impact your hearts the way it has mine. I’ve lost a close elderly childhood friend do to getting so involved with my own life and cutting the visits (completely for a few years) that he decided to take his own. I do not blame myself for this, but have used it as a period of growth in the past years. When people don’t have someone to share stories with or even a simple presence to visit them and make them feel that there existence means something it causes them to get lonely and to lose hope. Nursing homes are ALWAYS looking for volunteers. A simple hour a week could make or break a life for someone. So what is a couple hours? WATCH this documentary. It is available on Netflix.
