Here are Renfrewshire SNP councillors: Mags MacLaren, Will Mylet and Bill Lawson burning the Smith Commission report: youtu.be/mj03aXgX_3o I was saddened that these SNP councillors chose to publically burn the Smith Commission report and then post their burning on the internet. Last month SNP politicians participated in the Smith Commission. Last week SNP politicians signed up to the Smith Commission. The next day SNP politicians attacked the Smith Commission. And now the SNP are burning the Smith Commission report. You couldn’t make it up. My sense is that local people want politicians of all parties to work together in the interests of Scotland. It’s time to bring our nation together and move our nation forward. Discussion and debate is the lifeblood of our democracy, but nationalists publicly burning reports they disagree with isn’t the way to conduct these debates. The Smith Commission agreed new powers to create a stronger Scottish Parliament and all of us with the best interests of Scotland at heart now must work to deliver for Scotland.
