Here is a short video of Matthews therapy today at Aprender Jugando with Efra Higuera. They do various exercises to stimulate his thinking and teaching him how to blow, swallow, and control the strength or stimulate the mouth area. Its a long, slow process but there are little signs of improvement after only one month of one-on-one sessions. Next week, Matthew starts going 3 times per week and in May, 4 times per week plus 2 days of physical therapy. Right now and for the next year or so, the main focus is on linguistic therapy and trying to stimulate that area of his brain, the thinking part.
