Here it is..Monday in all its Glory! I realized today that I have begun to understand my emotions..and for that I am so grateful. I watched people coming and going yesterday...just watching from a distance while sitting in this truck. There was a moment or two when watching brought back memories and tears..some of it left a sting of loneliness in its path. That brought me to suspicion who was helping me feel that sting in my emotions...a place I guard with prayer...There are times when we experience every emotion under the sun...its part of our walk..but we have to realize that having an emotion doesnt mean we have to yeild to it..surrender to it to the point where we cant get past it...its ok to weep..its ok to regret..its ok to acknowledge we are sometimes lonely..because we are all get lonely from time to time....but Our greatest need is Jesus...our emotions should line up with His love because HE created them and He did not create them to torment us or hurt us...I understand those emotions bring me to my need for Him always because I have learned the hard way not to give too much attention to emotions that lead to despair... When we get stuck in an emotion like lonliness...guilt...grief...sorrow...foolishness...and blame remember its a place where evil can enter because we dwell there to long and instead of it leading us to our greatest need Jesus...it leads us to self pity. ..depression...anger and everything that goes against our true love...Emotions are good when you realize who brought you out of those situations and that when you see something that sparks an emotion that stings you just might need to get to the bottom of it where bondage might be lurking. .remember these things come slowly...examine yourself daily so that the enemy cant catch you in an emotion that sets a trap for you. The evil one loves to work from the inside out...so recognize the attack from the moment you feel that first sting! Just thinking outloud this morning...♥ T. Meeks
