David Oyelowo plays Sherwin, a young African American man, reeling from the tragic loss of his wife. Sherwin travels from his home in Atlanta to rural Maine to seek answers from his estranged mother-in law (Dianne Wiest), who is herself confronting guilt and grief over her daughter’s death. We need swimmers, swimming laps in the pool (so it needs to be people who are comfortable swimming!). Should include people of color. Should bring their own swimsuit, goggles and masks. No black swimsuits. Please +18 years old. Sunday, October 5. Brunswick, ME. Approx 1P-11P SCENE 2: Lead actors sing at a karaoke bar. We need 25 BG hanging out at the bar. Should include people of color. Supposed to be Atlanta. People should be hip, mostly in their 30s, with some in their 20s and some in their 40s. What theyd wear to a karaoke bar (jeans and cute shirts) - no black shirts or prints or logos. Please +21 years old. This is unpaid but a fabulous experience with a great cast and crew.
