Heres my latest thinking on Tropical Storm Arthur. It should - TopicsExpress

Heres my latest thinking on Tropical Storm Arthur. It should strengthen as it heads slowly along the southeast coast the next couple of days. It will come very close to Hatteras Thursday night before taking a sharp right turn and heading harmlessly out to sea Friday morning. The big question is the strength of the storm. Intensity forecasting is still in its infancy so this bears watching big time for the central and southern Outer Banks. Hampton Roads SHOULD be spared too much rain or wind from this sytem UNLESS it moves a bit closer to the big cities and its intensity is higher than expected. Will start sending out two updates daily through Thursday for you weather buffs out there. Once it passes Friday, the rest of the holiday weekend looks good.
