Hes got a busy day tomorrow (new PICC line en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peripherally_inserted_central_catheter and other exciting activities) so when we saw him sleeping so contently during the day, we (mostly) let him be - until it was time for me to leave. Xanat is formally discharged but allowed to stay in a shared room with other mothers (and shower and eat and pump and everything she needs, SF General has been amazing for all of us), but I can only be there until 8pm, which means I have to at least say goodnight before I go. But cmon, looka dat face! He stretches like a kitten and twitches like a puppy, and hes got more facial expressions than the both of us combined. Its impossible to resist. Were gonna have our hands full with this one.
