Hey YIASA followers, in your opinion what is the solution to create and promote volunteerism in African communities. What are the obstacles preventing you from volunteering at childrens homes, impoverished schools and community projects in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique ect? From my experiences it seems that only Americans, Europeans and Australians are concerned about Africa and spend thousands of dollars just to come to Africa and built a school or care for children or fundraise money to sponsor a child through school and university. Why do South Africans and other African citizens lack the motivation to donate their time and money to a fellow Africans. It seems like we only volunteer our time and money once a year on Mandela Day. Why not everyday? Please respond with solutions and debate
