Hey everyone - A long day today for Carols first round of Chemotherapy. She did great!! We were there about 7 hours. The nursing staff is awesome! They treated Carol like a queen and were very thorough and professional, but also very friendly and positive. And not just to Carol, but to all the other patients as well. And almost every patient came over and spoke to Carol offering insights, encouragement and support. It really helped put Carol at ease, and me too, for that matter. Along with chemo, she was given several other medicines to help diminish the awful side effects. Whatever effects she may have will begin in 2 or 3 days. Thanks again, everyone, for all the prayers and good wishes. They are truly appreciated. More to come. Love yall -
