Hey guys - looking for some advice to do with an Axe Fx - TopicsExpress

Hey guys - looking for some advice to do with an Axe Fx Ultra. The instrument input on the front is crackling - particularly when turning the gain pot or strumming hard (even though the inputs attenuated via the gain control). However, the input on the back seems to be fine. Initially I thought it may have been a dry joint on the gain pot, as it crackles when I turn it, though when I use the rear analogue input theres no crackling when turning the gain pot - this leads me to believe that its probably a dry joint on the front input. I was wondering what others make of this (particularly anyone with experience with pro audio electronics)? Also - can anyone recommend someone to repair an Axe Fx in the UK? (near Manchester would be convenient!) Cheers, Matt
