Hi all, Sorry for no updates from me these few days. Sofia has, what I believe is her last chemo in this phase of the therapy tomorrow, though I will have to check that to be sure as my memory is not always good with being tired most of the time these days. She has been losing a little hair which is only natural with this type of therapy. I talked with one of the doctors a few days ago and she said the therapy was proceeding normally and they will make a test on her spine on 12th August to see how the marrow is there and if they are happy with the result Sofia will be able to come home around that time and continue her treatment which wiill mostly be given to her by us. Sofia will also be coming off the steroids at this time so her mood will be more normal... not that it has been very bad really, she is a brave little girl doing her best. Sofia has also started to take some of the medicine orally which is good news as this is what she will need to do at home. We will have to learn how to give her the medication through her port when she comes home too, we are obviously a little nervous about having to do this but I feel it is better to have Sofia at home and in a more natural environment as much as possible to help her heal..rather than having to go to the hospital 4 out of 7 days a week. I will be going to see Sofia tomorrow and if there is any more news will keep you all up to date.. thank you again for all your good wishes, prayers and thoughts... please keep it all going as this is a long road we are on... and we need you all until Sofia is 100%. take care Dad...
