Hi everyone! I want to send a shout out to all of you that have traveled with me through this journey, called my life. It is not the day I was born, to me it is much more than a Birthday. On June 6, 1991 I was graced with getting a second chance at life. Up until then I was lost, I had no identity, I had not goals, no ambitions, I was a broken person who bordered on insanity. I was oh so alone! My soul ached because I had ran away from all those that loved me, my family, my children and my friends. Like I said in 1991 I was touched by God and at that very moment I understood that I did not have to live like that no more. That is when my journey began, that is when I started walking taking baby steps toward a life I knew nothing about, but was willing to go on faith and trust and take the hands that lead me to a better tomorrow. I have met so many people through this journey I call “my recovery” To all of you that have help me along the way I say “Thank You! Thank you because with out you and all your love and strength I would never had been able to even take one step….you know who you are! I say I love you! Let’s continue on this journey….for me 22 years clean means I now have a life filled with love, love from my mother and sister, love from my sons and their wives, love from all my grandchildren. Love from my friends and extended family. Thank – you for all your love, may we continue to walk through this journey together!
