I am about to take on a role as a contractor that could possibly have a full time workload of 40 hours. I am wanting to know 1. For taking on contract works, what are the usual terms in the contract or things to look out for? 2.I guess I am wanting some ideas about being a contractor that could take on a full time workload 40 hours work versus being an employee by the company. 3. Can I pick and choose jobs that I want to do 4. Can I ask for mobile phones and other stuff that is related to the work or do I have to provide my own? The company is based overseas and logistically, i think it makes more sense for them to put me on contract rather than as an employee? Also, its an IT-related for a Cloud software wondering how much is a reasonable hourly rate? The job scope involved training and implementation. Thank you so much.
