Higher Everyday Friday, October 18, 2013 MIXING WITH MULTITUDE Thou shall not follow the multitude to do evil; neither shall thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgement (Exodus 23:2) Many tend to justify extra-judicial crimes. But the truth is that no amount of justification should warrant that. On their way to the promised land, many unrighteous people from idolatrous nations joined them and God knew that these strange people could influence them to do evil. So He warned them. In our schools today, large number of students are there with different ideas or opinions on issues especially when it comes to righteous living. You must avoid the danger of joining people with questionable lifestyle. Christian youths must avoid social vices like cults, examination malpractice, riots, and immorality which are very rampant in our schools today. Youths like Daniel, Shadrack, Meshach, Abednego, Joseph singled out themselves not to join multitude to do evil. They took their secular endeavours very seriously and when God saw their integrity and faithfulness, He granted them good success. Challenge: Are your friends Godly or ungodly? Prayer: Oh!
