The Bar stools.. i did alot of furniture rentals back then..on all kinds of films. I got a call in 1989.. for a bunch of barstools for a new film call Goodfellas..of course i said..Sure No Problem, and the studio crew picked them up promptly. A week later the crew returns them..and leaves them on the street... i sign for them inside. an hour passes and one of my workers asks me..Where should i put the bloody barstools?... i say What are you talking about?.. i go outside and sure enough.. the stools were splattered with blood!...hard fake blood that is. at first i was pissed that i couldnt re-sell them as new like i normally do. I was just about to yell at the set director .. when i got a brain storm.. I lined them up on the street, put a sign on them.. Bloody stools from the new Robert De Niro film Goodfellas... they sold in a few hours.. full price.
