Holmesism 10-12-14 We may be pooped, but it was awfully fun. Friday afternoon we were in the highschools homecoming parade on the World Languages- We Love the World float. Saturday morning Holmes had a soccer game with lots of pals, then we headed over to his elementary school for a super fun Fall Festival. He left witJulie Hardison and best pal Ian, JW and Molly to Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch to watch some crazy BMX bikers in a competition hosted by Red Bull. He made it home in time for a pizza party brought to us by Rhianna Kunes DennehyBrian Dennehyand Joe Culpepper . Today we spent the day at Willow Springs Farm with Christy Fullbright Josh GibbsMargaret McInerney GibbsMandy Broderick and lots of critters, delicious homegrown food, hippy football, and reggae music. Holmes has had mostly good days, although there have been a few times he has felt weakness or tingles in his legs over the last week. Today he got overheated and was having a bit of a scene because all he had was jeans and cowboy boys. So I did what anyone would do...cut off his jeans and his sleeves off of his t-shirt. Function, not fashion. Super DadDave Desmelik and Captain Vincent got in on the look with the cut off tank tops so Holmes wouldnt feel solo sporting the special look. My heart was so full of love for my class act family. It was a beautiful fall weekend here in these beautiful mountains with our beautiful friends. We did all of that in less than 48 hours and we are pooped. And it was awfully fun.
