A delegation from Africa (East, West and Central Africa) arrived in Manila last August 13, 2013 to attend the 3 days and 2 nights 10th Leadership and Team Building Camp at Chateau Royal , Nasugbu , Batangas . The presence of our dedicated leaders from other countries turned out to be the first in history of Edmark that we will be having a 3 leg tour in a month to countries like Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand. It is always with pride and honor that EDMARK will host a very wonderful event every year which is that has been made even interesting and exciting thus right after the 3 days camp the entire delegation from Africa with the Filipino edmark leaders flew the following day August 18, 2013 from Philippines to commence the 2013 back to back tour . for blog 01First stop is Kuala Lumpur Malaysia , two groups of delegation arrived at Kuala Lumpur Airport . As soon as they’ve landed in Malaysia they were welcomed by the team from Edmark Industries Malaysia together with the Malaysian tour leaders. Immediately the group proceed for dinner in a very well known local Malaysian restaurant in the city of which everybody were impressed the way it was prepared. The group stayed at Novotel Hotel located at the very heart of the city close to all the shopping centers and even very conducive for tourist to move around since means of transportation are just around the corner . August 19, 2013 marked as the first touring day for all , around 8 am in the morning everyone took their breakfast and then went out for shopping and they all headed to EDMARK Industries Malaysia for the factory tour . Edmarker’s are welcomed by the EDMARK Industries management and staff headed by the General Manager Mr. Gilbert Yeoh , Chief Finance Officer – Mr. Marcus Ngoh and , Chief Operating Officer- Mr.Yap Waiyen. A factory tour was initiated by the edmark industries team in order to showcase the state of the art design of the corporate offices as well as the efficiency employed in the manufacturing of the edmark products . After the tour inside the factory a short program was conducted to host everyone with a dinner and entertainment. for blog 02for blog 03 August 20,2013 – Everyone were at the lobby of the hotel in preparation for the city tour the group was brought to the famous Royal Palace of which everyone had a chance to pose for souvenir shots . It is every evident that the place was well maintained in order to promote tourism in the country because it is located in a vast land area surrounded by trees , indeed it is really nature . Right after , to the Malaysia National Park . for blog 04 Next Stop, the group headed right to Malaysia Airport for the flight heading to Bangkok Thailand coined as the Land of free since the country is the only place in Asia which was not colonized by other countries . The country is described to be one of the hottest spot for tourism . A very famous and stylish hotel was used to accommodate the participants which is the Grand Mercure Fortune ( 4 star hotel ) . August 21 was the start of touring in Bangkok , the day started with a breakfast at the hotel then to a delicious thai cusine lunch at Royal Dragon. The day isn’t even over so we all went to one of the famous mall in Bangkok for shopping at MBK Mall where everybody had fun in buying clothes , bags and souvenir items at an affordable price . By 5 pm the entire group went straight to witness one of Thailands finest live performance termed as Siam Niramit before the show a buffet dinner treat for all was served then all went in to the stadium to witness the show .Siam Niramit featured how Thailand evolved as nation depicting the different culture and era’s , the ways of life and how the country progressed over time. for blog 05 August 22,2013- the group travelled to the Chao Phraya River regarded as the longest river in Bangkok where you can see along the river line tall buildings and old structures which best describe the countries wealthy old heritage . Wat arun is a place to go when in Thailand to be able to witness the Temple of Dawn just right along the river line . The World Class Aquarium – Siam Ocean World at Paragon was once amazing experience where tourist gets the chance to experience the underwater world . The fascination of all the p articipants kept everybody so appreciative while seeing the uniqueness the way things are done for public viewing. For most of us Thailand is really a treat for relaxation but staying in Thailand without going to Pattaya isn’t complete therefore the fun continues on the 23rd of August before reaching the the Hotel in Pattaya there were series of visit’s done such as at Dark Ride Theme Park wherein everyone had the chance to drive a mini train into Volcano Cave for Gem’s Gallery Factory on the other hand the group also visited the Nong Noong village to watch the cultural show and elephant show from then onwards was the gala dinner at a 4 star hotel in Pattaya described as the paradise ship named as A-One Royal Cruise whereby after checking in everyone has to attend the gala night in one of the hotel ballroom hall . Present during the gala dinner were the following members of the Board of executive, Chairman- Mr. Sam Low , CEO – Mr. Ric Camaligan , CFO- Mr. Marcus Ngoh,COO- Mr. Yap Waiyen , CMO- Ms. Lynden Valdez and members of the Mancom was also present namely President – Mr. Jose Urquia , Finance Manager- Ms. Joycelyn Flojo , Operation Manager – Mr. Jimmy Dinio. Present also during the occasion was the family of our beloved chairman Ms. Karen Low – Managing Director of Edmark Industries Malaysia together with the family of our chairman . Meanwhile, Mr. Jose Y. Urquia welcomed all the edmarkers to the occasion . Mr. Ric Camaligan also shared his message to the delegates thanking everybody for the commitment in the business . Testimonies from selected participants added to the savour the night as to what are the things they have learned from the tour and what commitments they have drawn out of the experience .Mr. Sam Low also shared his inspiring words to all as according to our Chairman – Edmarkers have come back stronger , he also congratulate the leaders most especially the members of the organizing committee . On his message he stressed out the value of discipline that every edmarkers should possess and in order for discipline to work it must be coupled with leadership . for blog 06 for blog 07 24th of August , the finale of the 3 leg tour added to the surprise for everybody thus in the morning of the last day stay in Pattaya the group took a ride from pattaya to the coral beach to enjoy some aquatic activities and rides which for hours and following the island tour was a relaxing thai massage of 2hours before the flight back to Philippines and Africa respectively . The tour enedep up so well thru dinner and 2 hours travel from Pattaya to Bangkok International Airport .
